Look for the brand of your computer, unless it's a custom-built one. If it isn't, call your PC's manufacturer and ask them to send you a Windows XP repair installation disk. Most companies will do this, and it is better since your friend may have given you a pirated copy which do not always work and we here on this site do not give support for them.
