Default What's Load Fail Safe mean?

Ok so i was updating my motherboard BIOS the other day and i followed all the instructions and everything went fine, i just have this question, it says in the instruction that it recommends after updating the BIOS that u go to the settings and choose Load Fail Safe option or something like that, it says something like the BIOS will be able to detect the original settings etc.....well i didn't choose the option and i was just wondering if i did choose it, will i lose my settings etc? What i mean is if u choose the Load Fail Safe setting it'll load the original settings of the BIOS or something like that, so if i did choose it will i lose my other settings? Like e.g. if the Load Fail Safe setting loads all the default drivers or files or watever, does that mean i have to re-update all the drivers and change all the settings for watever?

it would change the bios setting to a mode that should have the least hardware incompatiblities for booting no you won't have to change any drivers. Best to leave it if it works if you set it to fail safe the PC may be slower.
