Hello Alvin

Welcome to PC Help Forums

Can you please tell us the size of your CPU (processor) and the amount of memory you have.
To find this information right click My Computer and chose properties.
The information will be shown at the bottom of that section under Computer:

Hello again Alvin

Well you have some excellent specifications there mate so I'll let the Tech team deal with this as it could be all manner of things that are causing problems. Please bear with us for a short while.

Also, go to start > run > msconfig, and give me a rough estimate of how many items you have checked in there....for instance, on my machine, I have around 10, 2 of which are AV.....if you have more than, say, 40, that could easily slowing your system down.

The next thing we'll check is malware, but let's go one step at a time. Otherwise I get confused easily.
