Decided to post this on here, even though i have Vista, because it is much more active, and not a lot of people have vista so cant help me

Anyway, this might be the same on XP aswell, im not sure.

My 5.1 speakers work when i go into settings and click on the icon to hear a sound from each speaker, but when i use an application (WMP, and any sort of game) it only plays 2.1 sounds.

any fix?
