Default Issue when starting computer

Hello!

Whenever I start up the computer, I receive an error. (right when it is about to get to the screen that displays whose account to login to). I do not know the error exactly, as I have to copy and paste it..but it is something along the lines of: Windows is not able to start up with account, this could be because the administrator settings are not allowing it or there is a corrupt local file"

There shouldn't be any administrator problems, as this just started happening and there are no other accounts.

It sends me to an account called "TEMP" and all my files are somewhere on my computer (they just don't appear on temp). I know this because if I go to C:\My Account\Documents and Settings\Desktop\

I can see my files. However, in the temp user..all my stuff is gone. I'm trying to figure out how to make my computer start up with my Default account, and stop sending me to temp.

Thanks for any help, if any more detail is needed I should be able to provide it.

Hey Warhammer,

Sorry about the delay in answering your post. We have a few guys out this week.

This sounds as if you have a corrupt user account. Have you tried booting into Safe Mode, on the Administrator Account, go to Control Panel, Users, and remove the tick before Use the Welcome Screen? The reboot into Normal Mode. This should resolve the issue. If not please let us know and we'll try another user account.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN
