Hello... Heres my situation... I built a new pc and when i try to install windows onto the the new pc.. I get this BSOD saying "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" .... can anyone help me solve thiis problem plz.
- Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer and click on the System section.
- Look for event 1001, which should have the following information:
Event ID: 1001 Source: Save Dump Description: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was ? ...A dump was saved in:....... Note the path
- This will tell you where the location of the dump file is. Can you attach the dump file back here?
A few of these would be great, but irql_not_less_or_equal normally relates to faulty hardware, most likely memory but this dump should point us in the right direction.
