Hi Ndndude,Welcome to PCHF. We have a wonderful team of techs here, and I feel sure that we will be able to help you sort this out. First of all, were you having problems before installing IE7? I'm sorry but the screen shot you posted isn't legible, can you please type the error message? I expect that you have some malware complicating everything. Please follow the instructions for PreWork in my signature, and post the resulting logs back here. Looking forward to your reply, TTFN LGW

Hi, what happens if you turn off script error reporting?
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Browsing > Un-check "Dis-able script debugging" > OK & exit.

Hey Ndn,In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, and click on the Advanced tab. Make sure there are tiks next to the Disable Script Debugging Internet Explorer, and Disable Script Debugging Other options. Please download and run Shoot the Messenger and RegSupremePro from my signature. Please run Shoot the Messenger, it is a very simple app that disables the Windows Messenger utility, which is unecessary and leaves you vulnerable to PopUp attacks. You can fix the following in HJT:
Click on the Registry Cleaner tab, and choose Aggressive. When it has finished, click on Select and choose All. Click on Fix, and let it fix everything that it finds. Reboot your PC, and try to start the McAffee scan again. Looking forward to your reply, TTFN LGW
