I,m working on a Hp,XP home installed AMD Athlon XP 2000+.Also award bios V6.00pg. It powers up fans run,led's on keyboard show post but no beeps and it ask if I want to start in safe mode/last config known/normal.XP start screen then back to same message. Hard drive or memory? Can access bios

Duz it boot in safe mode? Sounds Like corupt OS so you get no error message or blue screen if it dosn't boot in safe mode may need to try is a repair intall of your XP. Do you have any more information or error messages to indicate what is wrong

Nope no boot , no blue screens nada just loops back to same thing over and over

First thing to do would be remove all card and memory in the pc and the reseat them in there original position if it won't boot after that you need to have your windows XP cd you will need to do a repair install of the windows XP to see if it fixes the problem first. You will need to put your Xp cd in your cd/dvd drive and boot from it to do the repair install.
