Hello.

Do you mean System Restore? To reverse a system restore, simply start System Restore and click the option labeled Undo My Last Restoration. Windows XP completely reverses the status of the restore you last performed.

im not sure which one it is, but its the one that comes up when u start up windows Xp....i tried what u told me and i dont c the option labeled Undo My Last Restoration, maybe im doin it wrong, but and when i tried using the calendar to restore to an earlier date, it wont let me go back to a point before i made my restore/recovery....

Hi Chosen, unfortunately that file is lost.

Where it was stored on the disk will have been over written.
You can try a program called Final Recovery - but you need to buy it.

That's your best - albiet very slim - chance of getting files back
