Cool Blank Pages Print in Everything but IE !

Hello,

Here is an odd one. This is a Dell desktop, Winxp sp2, current patches, MS Office 2003 Pro and old Deskjet 850 parallel port printer.

Pges print fine in IE 6 or &, and also in any test pages from printer control panel.
But any Office app (Word, Outlook, Excel) prints blank pages.

Before we jump to office, notepad prints blanks as well.

I have tried everything, including re-install of printer driver with no luck. I just dont think its hardware since it does print normally with IE.

Can anyone think of some reason why? My next step was to re-install Office suite but thats about it.

Thanks very much !

Welcome to the PCHF njrick

This is a very strange thing indeed - have you got the latest drivers for the printer from Dell?
