Question Computer stuck in restart loop

I recently updated my Norton Anti-Virus and when prompted to restart so updates can take effect computer started to restart, got to Windows XP screen the little dots went across about five times and it restarted again, cannot start in safe mode or any thing else in setup. Can someone help me please .

Hi Whisper, welcome to the PCHF.
Sorry that noone has replied to your post yet.

The quickest and easiest solution for you right now - is to do a repair install of windows...this will not remove any of your data.

Once the install is complete - i suggest backing up everything you want to keep, and then reinstalling windows again - a proper full reinstall...make it nice and stable again.
