Hi and welcome to PC Help Forum

If you are trying to re-install it via a .exe file then simply doing the following will stop the installer checking for the latest/current version of Internet Explorer.

Go to Start > run and find the .exe install file that you are running. When you have the file location and name in the run window, simply add a space after the last character and then "/Q" - then click OK to run it.

EXAMPLE - c:\program files\installer\install.exe /Q
