Default Matroska Pack

Hey guys I just keep having this problem. I installed Matroska Pack on my PC and it totally massed up my sound/audio, i loose control of the speakers, I can't mute them or nothing, they only play sound when they want to. So I just restored my PC, and it fixed everything, but now I installed Matroska Pack again and it massed them up again (not knowing that, that was what had massed up my PC before), leading me to the conclusion that Matroska was the reason my PC got massed up. Now when I installed Matroska Pack it asked me if it MAY TURN OFF some features which I can't remember what they were (I said yes so that the installation could continue). I have uninstalled Matroska and still nothing has gotten fixed. Does any1 have any ideas how I can fix this problem?

Hi Platinum - I've never actually heard of that software before - what's its purpose?

I'd say just restore your system again to the same point - as there might be alot of services shut down and you won't be able to find them all for a couple of weeks...but that's just my advise.

Matroska Pack is a video and sound codec thing, well I'm trying to not restore the PC, (also restoring the PC to a earlier time will not help)

Fair enough...

Ok, lets see what we can find out then.
First start with a simple check - infact this is probably all you will actually notice is switched off - if more is.

Start -> Run -> services.msc -> scroll down to Windows Audio and change it to Automatic and Started.
Reboot and try again.

I actually got it to work, I uninstalled the REALTEK HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO and installed an older model, restarted, and the speakers and everything else are working. Thanks anyway
