not sure if this is right place so move if not..

have now (supposidly) got IE7 up and running, as I buy a lot off ebay I usually save a copy of the page , a for proof and b for insurance.

problem I am having now is normally click FILE, drop down to SAVE AS, and this puts up a box to sav to usually my documents either as a ebay file or I can choose from there I open up delets some rubbish and save as a wrd file.

problem now is , when I click File and drop down to SAVE AS the box does not come up it is in black bold not semi hidden grey so I presume a live opton.

can anyone help

I usually use my main email address for everything apart from a couple of 'special' forums this being one of them!!
ironicaly I can save this page, box comes up Save HTML document!!

so why does it not work on my other email login browser, same pc, different login!!

So does this save as dialog box appear its just the drop down isnt working?

just been trying again, the box appears on some pages but not others ebay auction, dirt rides forum on the same user login so I presume it is a conflict with these two sites (at least 2 that Ive tried)

Cant you just save the confirmation emails anyway?

I save them into outlook express (the emails that is) but I keep then modify the original item page from ebay. so I have a picture and description of item.

still playing but can get ebay to save as.
I suppose it must be ebay software or lsting protection as if you click on the picture of the item, you can save it , but, it saves it as an ebay picture not a jpeg or bmp etc so you have to save then alter saved as .bmp or .jpeg

if I am watching an item or have it as won, I cant save the page BUT if I log out or call up another of the sellers items I can save!!!
must be something somewwhere!???
