Default Outlook Express stopped opening documents

I am running XP home edition and using Outlook Express. Have had no problem opening MS Word and Excel attachments ihe past. Now I am unable to open the attachments. I now get the message "This action only valid for products that are currently installed".

Hi donmadd,

Welcome to PCHF, sorry for the delay in responding to your post.

Can you open up Word and Excel normally? Is it just Outlook that it doesn't open in?
