Default [Fixed] Computer Unable to Boot

The problem started after the power went off and on within a minutes time. When I tried to turn the computer on after this power surge it would not boot. The computer turns on then off quickly then reboots on its own but does not display anything on my screen. I have come to the conclusion that my hard drive must have died, but I have come seeking help to confirm my hunch. Any assistance would be great

Welcome to the PCHF, HardDriveFailure.

Your hard drive is probably going to be fine.

It's your video card/monitor/memory/cpu/motherboard you need to worry about right now.

First thing to try - is to reset your BIOS..do you know how to do this?

I Reset the Bio.
I can now see what the problem is when it turns on it tells me that Overclocking Failed and will boot no further.
I have an option for F1 for Setup but I do not know what 2 do from here.

In the BIOS screen I loaded Optimal Performance Settings and the computer loaded Windows. I am still unsure if my system is totally stable atm, but everything seems fine. Thanks for suggesting that I reset the BIOS I just hope nothing else is wrong.
