Usually driver-related.
Everything I can find points to a network card driver.

Sorry for the delay aznlilboiz.

This is an extremely common problem with any Wireless card that uses the Atheros chipset.

Apparantly the problem can be resolved if you use an older driver version - 3.3 - but d-link have removed that off their website.

From what I've read - you can find a link to this driver at these forums - broadband help » BBR is DSL · Cable · VOIP · Security · Satellite · Fiber · News · Tips · Reviews · Community · Tools

Good luck!

I had that problem. It started off as occasionally happening when I tried to start Windows and then it eventually got worse and worse untill that happened every time I tried to start windows, no matter what. I fixed it by re-installing Windows, since I needed to anyway, but I don't know what else you can do. I'm sure these guys can help you out.
