Default [Ref to Gar] Installing XP Media Center

I have a set (3 discs) of Windows Media Center. When trying to boot to CD (disc 1) I get a message that says checking compatibility... then get a blank screen and nothing more happens. It's a brand new computer, ECS motherboard, Intel 2 Duo core P2.13 with 1 gig of ram. A WD 250 gig harddrive (SATA), NVidia GeForce 7300 GS video card. I can load Windows 2000 Pro and Vista RC1 with no problem. Anyone have any ideas how to get this OS loaded. It's an OEM version that I got from Amazon.com with a free upgrade to Vista Home Premium.
