Arrow [Answered] Duplicated in so many different areas on PC!

I do not know if I am posting this under the correct area or not - let me know if I'm wrong!!

When I look in Windows Explorer, there are so many places where the same documents, folders, files are duplicated (ex.: My Documents is under "My Documents", "All Users", "Default User" and under my own account.

Pictures & other items are the same way, they are listed in so many areas in Windows Explorer.

Isn't that just using unnecessary disk space???

Can I clean this up or do I need to do some cleaning up???

I don't know, maybe that's how all computers are set up when there are two users on the system.

Please give me your advice - if you wish - when you have a moment -- I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks a bunch!!

Hi Kate,

This is just how windows does it...you can remove "default user" but each of those directory's should only take up around 200kb...so it's like a fly already dead on the fly swatter...
