Default Extracting exe Installers

I've got some .exe installers packages that I need to get the data out of. I'm afraid I can't actually install them because they limit the package to Win95/98, but I've been told the applications themselves will work in XP if you can find them.

Some people limewire them, but I have the official installer, I just can't use it.

So like I said, a program that'll let me poke around in the installer get out its contents without installing them.

Thanks!

a .EXE is a compiled program....you'd need to know what language it was written in to decompile it.

What programs are you trying to install? there may be another way around it.
