Red face Moving HD around

Hello friends,
I have two HD running C & D surprisingly! The C drive is getting full and I thought I might install XP on D and use it as my C,if you see what I mean. Would someone let me know the easiest method to do this please?
Thank you.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I feel that you are under the assumption that you need to have D: running an Operating System i.e. XP yes.
If I am correct then your feelings are wrong, this is no disrespect to you.
If you want to put your items on D then just do so providing you have formatted it through Disk Management which is located in Administration Tools.

No,I obviously didn`t explain myself properly. I want to make my present D disk into my C disk. So I need to put XP on D before making it my master,C then becoming the slave. When trying to install XP it just wants to either repair or remove,as I am sure you are aware.
Thanks
