Hey.

For the past 4-5 days, I have noticed I can't login to Yahoo or AIM messenger. Eventually I get in maybe a day later, when I don't need it. I also haven't been able to access the itunes music store. "server error occured, sign in problems" etc..help me out here, please.

and on itunes "netword connection timed out"

this actually started to happen the day or so after I played with using a proxy. Anything to do with it?? I'm fairly sure I set everything back correctly. Proxy was slow. Lol.

Hi bemyescape.

The proxy would definately have an effect on this sort of thing.
What was the proxy? How was it set up? Was it from your ISP or were you creating your own one?

No, it was one I found off the internet. There was a list and I used it. I went to connections in firefox and added the port and IP thing. I changed it to automatic proxy..I think..its now back at direct connection to internet

Sorry about the lack of help, so I will try.
First, run a system restore to several days ago when it worked.
Second, if that didn't work, try going into Control Panel > Network Connections, Right click and repair all of them. See what that does.
