Hi.
My and another person has an Administrator account on my computer. We have 2 user accounts also which have restricted capabilities. I was just wondering if there is a way to disable the Search and Run comands based in the Start Menu for the User accounts. Im pretty sure i have came across it before but have forgot how.
Hope someone can help.
Mike.

Hi mikey88,
If your familiar with using the registry, log on as the user you want to disable Run and Search with. - Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre nt Version\Policies\Explorer - Right click on the right hand panel and add a new DWORD. - Name it NoFind, and give it a value of 1 - Right click on the right hand panel and add a new DWORD. - Name it NoRun, and give it a value of 1 |
