Default [Fixed] Not booting up fully

G/day All,
My wifes comp which is the following.

Acer
256 mb
2.3Ghz
80Gb HD
Intel celeron.

When I attempt to boot the comp up only the Acer screen shows along with the following

Del: Enter Setup F12: Boot menu.

The prob is thats as far as I can go, no matter what keys I hit on the keyboard nothing else happens, nor is there any mouse pointer.

The comp sounds as though it wants to boot but then just sits, going no further.

Any clues out there, the comp was running fine last night prior to shutting down. I have various boot up discs with the comp.

Okay amendment to this post, i took the covers off the comp, checked various connections HD etc etc tried again and no worries all runs well, will c how it goes, srry guys...

Thanks Andy
