I have a BIG problem, and I think my computer isn't going to be able to recover from this. I have a notebook computer from Gateway, the system the other day got a BSOD that occured on startup of the computer. It never happened before. Now, it just loops in the BSOD restart mode. LKGC doesnt work, safe mode (all types) dont work. The error is:0x00000024 (0x001902FE, 0xF99D080C, 0xF99D0508, 0xF936C1FC)
Ntfs.sys Address 936C1FC base at F935F000, Date stamp 41107eea
It gives some directions like deactivating antivirus software and running CHKDSK /f, but I can't get into my system to do that.
I've gone into the BIOS and looked for "antivirus" to deactivate...there is no such thing there.
I've used my recovery CD, and it gets as far as "starting windows xp" then goes to start, and ta da....BSOD again! The system is in a constant cycle of restarting, mode options, BSOD and restarting again. I really don't know what to do. Keep in mind that there is no A: drive to make a bootdisk for the computer system.
Is my notebook computer only good for skeet shooting now? HELP!!! Please anyone. Thanks!
