Default Generic Host Process for Win32 Services encountered a problem

Ok, this has been annoying the hell out of me for a long time now. 90% of the time when I turn on the comp, I get a message saying "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services encountered a problem and needed to close". When this happens, the internet does not work and programs don't work either.

I have read many other topics about this problem and have tried everything that has been suggested. I've run anti-spyware and anti-virus programs. I have uninstalled then reinstalled the recommended windows updates. Nothing works.

Please help me get rid of this.

Hi nullify,

Look at: You receive a "Generic Host Process" error message after you start the computer, or DBCS attachment file names are not displayed in Rich Text e-mail messages

Download the appropriate hotfix. There are also virus's that can cause the same error such as "codeBlue". So if this fails, it would be a good idea to follow PCHF Prework on my signature.
