Default Changing Slave Drive To Master Drive Help Me Please

Ok Im Going a Little mad at the moment..

I have two Athlon AMD 3000 hard drives, my master drive (c has 5Gb left out of 110GB.... this causes my computer to run slow and freak out and crash all the time.
My Slave drive (D is basically unused and still has 100GB

Could someone please help me and tell me how to switch them around to get max performace... i know you have to remove the drive and switch the jumper positions, but i my explode or damage my PC permantaly if i do this myself

Is there another way to free up some space without deleating files from my master? or changing the jumper settings?
Dragging files from one harddrive to the other doesnt really seem to work

Please Help me..Pleeeeeeeeeaassssssse
xx

ummmmm.... i dont really think there is any way to do that... i am pretty sure the only way would be to swap the jumpers..... hmm..... by the way, i dont think AMD makes hds. they make processors..... do you know how to swap the jumpers safely, grounding and all that?

hmm...... does it give you a blue screen before it reboots, or what? It is possible that the graphics card may be bad, or the computer just doesnt like the game. ?I would reccomend deleting anything you dont need on it, like uninstalling game from the master, and reinstalling them on hte slave. if you have video, try moving some of that to the slave to. Also, try defragmenting teh master too. that should help a little. and if you end up having to swap the jumpers, what you need to do is, turn it off, unplug everything but the power cord, ground yourselfby touching the metal frame of the computer, unplug it, then open it up and swap the jumpers..... however, windows might now work properly then, but it should.

Hi SuperJesus
Leave the jumpers as they are and just copy your non system files such as pics, music etc to the other drive.
Don't do this enmasse or it could cause problems, just do it bit by bit.
In future just store all the non system files on that drive.
I don't really want to get into partitioning unless you are familiar with the technique.
