Try this little system information utility:

SIW - System Information for Windows - Software, Hardware, Network

Download it to the desktop, or a favorite folder, and run it from there. It is an executable, so it doesnt have to be installed. It will tell you just about anything you want to know about your system, including motherboard make, model chipset..ect.

yeh platinum put them specs into the psu calculator and add 50-100W to be safe and that will be a large enough power supply.

I think I got everything in there right and I got 502 watts, you say to add an additional 50-100w, wich would be 550-600w. That's good enough to run a 7600gs or 7900gs right?

that seems a bit much because i get 278w entering your specs try again just to check.

But im pretty sure 550W would power your system and a 7900gs.

the only thing that I'm not sure what to choose is "CPU Utilization, Hard Drive" do you know what I should choose in there?

Im not sure with TDP really but with CPU Utilization it gives you less power rating as you put it down so to be safe i would put it on 100%.

With the hard drive we need to know the specs for that so download and run siw (above) and then go on to hardware and click Storage Devices and click on the fixed hard disk media and tell me the interface, model and serial number
