Unhappy Please Help! My computers broken! :(

Hi, my computer seems to have broken, but i have no idea why or how to fix it, so id appreciate any help or ideas!

Basically...

My computer was working fine the other night, but i had to rush out to meet someone; i left my computer on, and the internet connected. ( i was signed into msn, and might have had iTunes playing if it helps).

I got bak home about 5hours later, to find nothing on the screen. I tried typing and moving the mouse; pressing the power button etc, incase it was in sleep mode or anything (i dont use sleep mode or anything usually, but just incase...)

Nothing worked, nothing ever came back on the screen. So ive tried restarting the computer; when i do this, the lights come on the tower unit, and i can hear the fans turning, but nothing is displayed on screen, and i no longer get the usual 'peep' sound when it turns on. So now my computer is completely inaccesible, no DOS, no BIOS, no windows, no nothing.

I have tested the monitor elsewhere and it works, so its not that, and ive tried plugging a tft monitor in too, that didnt display anything either. I have triend disconnecting all usb items and restarting, nothing.

Any ideas people? i really need my computer to do uni work, but i fear i may have got a virus, or perhaps my graphics card/motherboard is broken?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Grant

If it helps, here are a few stats of my computer:
AMD sempron 3000 processor
500mb RAM
Integrated graphics card (64 or 128, im not too sure)

Running:
Windows xp pro
Wireless internet
ZoneAlarm (free edition)
Norton Antivirus
MSN
iTunes

Thanks again for any help.

Grant

Hello Grant,

Welcome to PCHF.

No beeps generally means CPU, Motherboard or most likely the PSU failure. Try unplugging power from the PSU for a short time. Also open you PC, and make sure the fan connected to the CPU is working when you hit the power button.
