Default Sending Email Errors

I am having difficulty sending emails using any email client. I have tried outlook express / 2003 / Pegasus / Thunderbird and all have the same error.
When I send a mail I receive an error message from system administrator in my inbox

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: FW: Microsoft Office Outlook Test Message
Sent: 11/11/2006 19:05
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'xxxxxxxxxxx@hotmail.com' on 11/11/2006 19:05
503 No recipient(s).

I have tried different email accounts that I own and know exist and they all give the same error. I have also proved they are working using webmail.

I have also tried using a different pop3 account on a different server and again receive the same errors.

I am using my webhosting domain for SMTP and this has been working fine. I have reset the default email within outlook - still not working.

When I ask outlook to test the settings they all work fine and I can even see the test message sent by outlook in my inbox on the server.

This problem is definitely PC related because I have sent an email successfully on my other laptop and it works fine. Both machines have the same settings for outlook.

My ISP is not blocking port 25 because I can send mail on the other laptop.

I have tried disabling norton internet security and the problem is still there.

I have re installed office 2003 and again the problem still exists.

I have searched google for hours without any success.
I hope someone has an answer to this problem.

Thanks

Hi Tanky, welcome to the PC Help Forum.

With your server...is it just a POP3 server, or have you got exchange installed on it as well? What OS is it?

EDIT:
I'm not sure if this will help you out...but give it a try...

If the email address is correct and still giving issues do this Tools --> email accounts --> view or change existing email account click on the account and press change and then More settings go to outgoing server tab and check " my outgoing server requires authentication"

It is a linux server running cpanel and up to 2 days ago it worked fine. The only thing I can think of is something has been corrupted. It has worked for 2 years then it stops. The only thing I have done is to install pegasus and then it started to give errors.

Well then...Linux is out of my area
I'm a MS Exchange type of expert, not having used Linux for anything other then installing it to know I could.

One of the other techs might know a bit about linux, lets find out.
