Default ie 6 will not access certain site

Using IE6 I access a site every day for work the site requires a user name and pass word once i enter this area i can make changes that appear on the main web site. For some reason i cannot get into this area last 2 days, If i bring firefox up i can enter right away. using ie i recieve no error it just will not enter an returns to log-in page.
1. clear cookies.
2.clear history.
3.clear Temp files.
4. click ok>apply reboot.
5.ipconfig /flushdns.
6 Ran adawareSE, spybot, ran virus scan (McAfee) in safe mode.
The only thing i haven't done is a system restore. For my work i must use ie6 having to use firefox to access this 1 site would be a pain.
