Default Pc randomly reboots

I just upgraded my computer, I bought a new mother board (crossfire), ram (patriot 2 x 512mb), video card (crossfire), psu and cpu (dual core). Then I installed XP pro x64 edition and got all the drivers for everything from extended64.com.

My computer seems to reboot itself at random times. NO blue screen. SOMETIMES it will pause for about 1o seconds then reboot. For a wile itw as a continuous reboot but now it just does it once. Also it used to ask me put it in safe mode or normal mode, I always choose normal.

I have tried everything and do not know what is wrong. I turned off auto restart in system, I do not have raid drivers but i disabled raid. and my fans all spin and seem to cool the case.

Can anyone please help??? If you need all my parts and my specs just tell me. Please help!!!!!!!

One major cause of this I think is overheating.

Your heating/AC might change the external temps enough to make a difference. You should carefully measure the CPU temperature which should not be above 40 degrees C. If it is, check for dust, dirt, anything blocking the fan. If none of this helps, try running it with the case open and see if it makes a difference.

I have a program called sensorsview which monitors the tempertaure in my cpu hd and mb etc. it says my cpu temperature is 42 degrees C,there is no dust and nothing is blocking it.

Also i have a feature on my fan and motherboard that my fan will turn itself off if the cpu is at a certain temperature, so I changed it so it will be fully on whenever the cpu reaches 40 degrees C, is that good, will that solve my problem?

I had a similar problem, The coputer kept restarting during booting, and on the log on screen, and even when the coputer had fully loaded.
I found out my Harddrive was corrupt, So you could try a Harddrive Diagnostic. You can usually find them from the manufacturers website.
Hope it helps

From what I hear, the Windows XP 64 bit edition is filled with errors.
Have you opened your computer and blew all the dust out lately?

tractordriver: windows x64 isnt exactly full of errors it is just not as compatible with software and hardware as x32 is, for example some drivers dont work with x64.
