I'm using Windows XP x64...and yet it's more stable then a monkey on a tree.

'Full of errors' maybe when it was in 'beta' as is everything - whoever told you this is scared of change.


If the restarting issue is not an overheating problem, it could very well be the power supply - how old is it?

What are the specs on your computer?

I would guess the power supply first, it sounds like it doesn't have a high enough wattage output or perhaps it's unstable. The power supply is the most important part in your computer, never skimp out on it. I'd say with all you have get at least 500watts and do dual rail (I think that's what it's called) if you can.
