Default PC Restarts

Hey guys I have a problem. Everytime that I trie to start playing a game my PC just restarts. It has not done this with every game. So far it is doing it with "Scarface" and "Need For Speed Carbon". I have a GeForce FX 5200. Do you guys have any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks

Im unsure as to how to solve your problem but another member will be here soon to help.

This may help: What size power supply do you have?

Hi Platinum,

Welcome to The PCHF,

There could be a couple of things causing your pc to reboot and one of them might be the high temperatures caused by gaming.
Download and install the app from here , check the temperatures soon after a cold startup before doing anything serious, then, run one of the games for a short while and check the temps again. Let us know what the readings are and we'll take it from there.
