Thank you, thats a good guide.
Could you guys take a look at what i have in mind so far?

CPU
Intel Pentium 4 945 Dual Core "LGA775 Presler" 3.4GHz (800FSB) - Retail (CP-132-IN)
- True Dual Core
- Enhanced Intel SpeedStep® Technology.
- Level 1 Cache (Two 16KB Data Caches and Two 12KB Micro-op Execution Trace Caches)
- 4MB L2 Cache (2MB per core)
- Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology (Intel® EM64T)2
- Execute Disable Bit3
- Streaming SIMD Extensions 3 (SSE3)
- 65nm Process Technology
- 800MHz front side bus speed
- Only compatible with Intel based 945/955/975X series mainboards

Motherboard
Asus P5WDG2-WS Professional Intel 975X (Socket LGA775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-191-AS)
Intel Core™2 Extreme / Core™2 Duo Ready
Dual-core CPU Ready
DDR2 800/667/533
FSB 1066/800/533
Dual PCI-E x 16 Graphics
PCI-X Architecture

Hoping the CPU and Motherboard are the right decisions. I want to build a high end pc, but i dont have very much experience doing so as this is a first time project. Anyway, if you could take a look at these and tell me if they are good and if they will work together i will appreciate it alot. Thanks!

Could you post your other components like the graphics card and ram?

And whats your budget and where would you like to buy from?

The motherboard is good but i would highly recommend getting an intel core 2 duo instead of the pentium d 945 if you can fit it in your budget.

Benchies here show the difference with the cpu's

Its pentium 4 945 i think?

I buy this from overclockers (bought before, i trust site).

At the moment i havent picked out any other components, as i want to take time to select the right ones. It says on the motherboard that i need to get something like DDR2 800/667/533. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't take too long in getting the parts..if you take too long, the computer will be out of date by the time you finish building it.
