Will do Garhar

Something pretty interesting happened last night. I pressed the power button, just in case something might happen...and it did.

It wasnt much, but I turned it on, and I heard the fan/hard drive boot up like usual, but after about 3 seconds, it turned off, and then back on again. It got into this wierd cycle of turning on for about 3 seconds, then shutting down, then turning back on again...Does this mean anything different? Hopefully, it does...

Thanks,
Connor

Just an update...The computer technician came over today and everything is back up and running. It turned out that is was just a problem with one of my RAM modules. He took them out and switched them around a bit, and now everything it working again. I went ahead and bought new (faster!) ram though, just incase they feel like breaking again. Thanks to everyone who helped me through this tough time

Hey Conor707,
That's very cool to hear that it's been sorted out , not a very common fault, I've only seen it a couple of times before.
Thanks for your comments and all the best, I'll mark this as fixed.
