Default [Fixed] map24 - map doesn't display

Hi, just bought new pc and I am unable to get the map part of the map24 website to appear.

I am using the same router (Netgear) & isp (AOL) that I used before with my old pc which had no problems with this site. Also using same firewall and antivirus that I used before (mcafee & avg).

I have latest Java installed and popup blocker disabled. I do not have any other Java applet problems on other sites.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

Hello rob, in Internet Explorer:

- Go to Tools, Internet Options
- Click on the Security tab, followed by Custom Level.
- Scroll down to Scripting - Active Scripting, and make sure this is enabled.

Yep, just checked and that is enabled. Off to bed now so will answer any other questions in the morning. Thanks for all the help so far.

Hi rob,

In the same location, instead of click on Custom Level, click on Default Level. Is the Level set to High? If so try Medium.

If it works on Medium, then set it back to high and change the following back in Custom Level:
- Enable ActiveX - Initialise and script ActiveX..
- Enable ActiveX - Script ActiveX controls marked sage..
- Enable Scripting - Scripting of Java Applets..

You are a star, it was set to Medium but the 'initialise & script activex etc' was disabled, I have changed that and it now works. Thankyou so very much
