Question autoboot cd, copy files, load windows...

Hi,

I have been trying to figure this out for days so I am hoping someone can help me out.. Here is what I need..

I created a bootable CD using Nero or whatever.

Second, I need to use this to basically have a machine with NO mouse and NO Keyboard boot itself, copy some files from the CD to the drives then on completion of that, load Windows XP.

How can I accomplish this?

Basically the sequence is:

1 - Put CD in drive and reboot machine
2 - machine boots off CD
3 - files copy from cd to hd's on machine
4 - once file copy completed, load and run and boot up Windows.

If anyone can help with this, possible a batch file that executes from the bootable CD, it would sure be appreciated....

Todd

Hi Todd, welcome to the PCHF!

Are you trying to install windows off this cd? or just copy files before windows loads?
