it automatically boots into boot up options, safe mode-safe mode w/command prompt only ect...winxp starts then goes back to the boot options. holding down f8 will take you to system restore option but then it dissappears...can my board be burnt or what? any way to format? please help!

So, you have no way of getting into Windows in either normal or safe mode?

No error messages appear at all? Is the PC rebooting itself to get back to the Windows Boot option screen?

no, no n no lol...wont go in safe mode, n no error messages.yes it boots itselfs, the window screen shows like its starting normal than bam! it reboots b to the boot option screen! just cant figure out whats wrong.

At what point does it reboot itself, what is the last thing you see on the screen, and what colour is the background?

after choosing a boot option n hit enter, it then reboots itself .its a black background. boots right back to boot option screen.if i hit f12 it goes to a diff boot option screen then i choose system restore, it showes system restore for a second then says its booting in safe mode then bam! back to the first boot option.
