Default [Fixed] Help needed to remove pxagent.exe

hi,

i recently installed a program called prevx1, a security program. ive decided i no longer need it but cant seem to uninstall it. i think it has disabled my ability to close certain programs in task manager, that i was previously able to close such as avgupsvc.exe..when i try to close these auxilliary programs i get a message stating that access is denied.

anyway, when i try to uninstall prevx1, it fails because it states that one of the programs is still running, pxagent.exe. if i try to shut this down manually in task manager i get the access is denied message (im guessing this is some kind of security measure). the only thing i can think of is to delete the registry values for the program...but i dont know if this is something that could cause problems, so i would apreciate any help with this...it eats up around 25,000k memeory running in the background, and its not serving any purpose now.

thanks.
