Default system restore issues

I removed some software from computer, not thinking. There appears to be something tied into one of the items I removed, which prevents the logging into my computer. I attempted starting it safe mode and doing a system restore, but it will not allow me to chose the day prior to the error occurring it will only let me select the current day. How can I go about getting my computer to work? I can not rebuild, because I have items on there that I need - if I can help it. Thanks!!!

Hey 1151978 (is that your bank account no. or some!? lol)
Welcome to PC Helpforum!

How where you removing software? Through Control Panel - Software?

Have you got a clue what you've removed at all?

What do you exactly mean by prevents the logging into your computer? What message do you got trying to log on?

I was removing some things that came with my microsoft suite (Like street tips, money, and task launcher etc. I was removing it through Add/Remove.

It loads up and gets to the screen where I would enter my password and then it comes up with an error message that says can't find something ? I need to go double check it. I am on another computer. Anyways...it doesn't let me do anything.

bcmwltry.exe - Unable to Locate Component. This application has failed to start because MFC71.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.
