Default [Fixed] Mp3 Files Messed Up

Hey guys, sorry im new here, heres the situation:
So i play nhl 2004 and sound works fine, but when im outta the program sound is messed up, so i went into itunes and played songs, and noticed you could barely here the lyrics, and than i rebooted, and some sounds were skipping as well, same with windows media, AIM is not giving me sound either, (my aim is Skt4DC8) please help becuase this happened with my last computer, and sound just cut off totally.

P.S. I DOWNLOADED FRAPS FRAPS show fps, record video game movies, screen capture software it records ur game programs and i was using it to record some action in nhl 2004 i donno if it is related

Hi skt4dc8, welcome to the pchf!

I've once encountered somethign similar to this...i turned my copmuter on, played ag ame...quit and my sound no longer worked...even in the game.

What I did to resolve it (still have the same sound card) was reinstall the drivers.
What sound card do you have?
