Hya Artlayton.

Do you mean the Windows Messenger Service? If yes, then you could use this app:

Please download Shoot The Messenger

Download and run the small (22 kbyte) "ShootTheMessenger.exe" utility. It will display the current status of your system's Messenger Service. The button near the bottom of its window will allow you to set the service to whichever state — running or disabled — that you desire.

If, for any reason, you should ever choose to re-enable the Windows Messenger Service, simply re-run ShootTheMessenger to do so.
Or manually disable it:

[Windows XP]
  1. Select "Start"
  2. Choose "Control Panel"
  3. Choose "Administrative Tools"
** note in Windows XP Home edition, Admistrative Tools is in Performance and Maintence
  4. Choose "Services"
  5. Right-click on "Messenger"
  6. Select "Properties"
  7. Change "Startup Type" to "Disabled" and click "OK"
[Windows 2000]
  1. Select "Start"
  2. Choose "Settings"
  3. Choose "Control Panel"
  4. Choose "Administrative Tools"
  5. Choose "Services"
  6. Right-click "Messenger"
  7. Select "Properties"
  8. Change "Startup Type" to "Disabled" and click "OK"

[Windows NT]
  1. Select "Start"
  2. Choose "Control Panel"
  3. Choose "Services"
  4. Right-click "Messenger"
  5. Select "Properties"
  6. Click "Stop" To permanently disable Messenger:
  7. Click "Startup"
  8. Change "Startup Type" to "Disabled" and click "OK"

Here's a tweak that will remove Windows Messenger.

Go to Start / Run and paste this in:

Code:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
Click OK and it's gone for ever...
