Okay, here's my situation.

I use a Netgear wireless router to give me some extra plug-ins so I can't hook up my PS2 to my modem and play online games. To be honest, I'm not sure why I chose a *wireless* router, since my PS2 is right next to my computer.

My internet started acting up today, and the only way I know to fix it is to unplug my router's power source and plug it back in. Since I started having to do that every 15 minutes it seemed, I blamed my router and decided I no longer needed it. So, with my computer turned on (Yeah, I know), I decided to mess with the wires (Yeah) to see if I could ditch the router.

About five minutes later I discovered my PC tower doesn't have enough plug-ins by itself to accomodate a modem and a PS2 (It has one Ethernet slot and nothing else!), and nothing I tried was getting my internet working. Also, my screen took on a strange blue tint and the color red turned to black.

Now, I've got my wires back to where they were before, but the blue tint and lack of red still remain! What went wrong, and how do I fix it?

Hi Brianne, welcome to the PCHF!

It's most likely just your monitor cable is lose. Unplug it and plug it back in.

Yep, that did the trick! I can see red again!

Oh, and it's "Brianne," not Brian, hehe. Girl.

Thanks a ton! I'll definitely be back here if I have any more trouble.
