either I'm retarded or I really can't figure out how to reformat. I have 6 different cds that came with my computer and I'm pretty sure I've tried all of them after restarting my computer.. any tips?

What you're looking for is a Windows XP Recovery disk, or a Windows XP Home/Pro disk.

yeah but none of them say anything, I only have 6 cds with random numbers on them. that's all that came with the comp..
