Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum!!

That's a setting on the computer. Open any folder, or open My Computer. At the top, click on Tools and then click on Folder Options. In the third box that's entitled "Click items as follows", make sure Double-click to open an item is the one selected. Click OK.

That should solve your problem.
