IT"S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The old HD did the trick. It's only 60GB, but its better than nothing. Gotta get ahold of a real person at maxtor and get this new one rma'd.
