Every time I start my computer this error message comes up:
SMax4PNP MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
How do I get rid of this?

Have you got a clue how/when this started to happen?

You can take a look at this too:
smax4pnp.exe - smax4pnp - Process Information

You're probably able to disable it, unticking the box on smax4pnp.exe, in Start -> Run... -> 'msconfig'.
