Default Question: Internal Graphics

I have an old system...5-6 years old. It runs on Windows XP SP2. My question is how to adjust the internal graphics card (Extreme Intel Graphics) usage from 8 to 64 MB?

Thanks!

Hi -- Welcome to PCHF...

In order to change this to 64 MB yo may need to download/install an updated driver for your on-board video adapter.
Without much info to go on... I believe this is the place you want to go.

Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller - How Much Video Memory do I Have? Can it be Changed?&

You may already have the updated driver --if you run Windows Update regularly... so check your video settings. You may also need to upgrade your BIOS--

Both above posts are correct.

However, when you change your video card memory of an onboard chip, you will reduce your system memory, causing the whole system to run slower, not just graphics.

8 MB is already dedicated, I'm gonna bump it up to at least 32. I have 640 MB of RAM. 640 - 32 = 608 MB RAM. That should be more than enough.

I can't access this menu:

And how do I access the BIOS?!
