Default Drive Problem

Hi there,
I am running windows XP with all the latest updates. I have a problem though. When I boot my machine up and it loads into windows, if I click on My computer none of my drive will show up for a good 5 mins. ANyone know why? or how to sort it out?

Cheers

Hi furryboo, when that normally happens, it indicates the computer is looking for drives that aren't there (most often network drives), but i doubt this is the case for yourself.

If you could follow the prework link in my signiture and post the resulting logs back here, one of our security team will take a look at it and try and rule out malware for this problem.
